It's hysterical.

Did you know that one of the two girls in that movie, Heavenly Creatures, is now a famous mystery author? Anne Perry, if you're a mystery buff. I just found that out a few years ago, after being an Anne Perry fan for years and years.

I think Stardust will be the next film we rent. It sounds lovely.Major Bedheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17669161302510096751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-52061756826391657432008-01-23T22:26:00.000-05:002008-01-23T22:26:00.000-05:00A lot of people missed Office Space in 1999, but n...A lot of people missed Office Space in 1999, but now it has cult status. Barnes & Noble sells an OS package with various items including a samll red streamline and a jump to conclusions mat. The life size stapler is very expensive now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-17855163717488985392008-01-22T21:33:00.000-05:002008-01-22T21:33:00.000-05:00I can't watch movies at home. I am always distracted and end up leaping up to get the phone or go put Downey in the rinse cycle....

I have to be in a movie theater where I have paid a ridiculous price for the joy of sitting with other people, many of them rude asses. I can't leave my seat because I have already paid for my ticket. It doesn't work like that at home....Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05049511202014141182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-24558200346793442242008-01-22T16:45:00.000-05:002008-01-22T16:45:00.000-05:00Hey, blog what you want (says the blogger with the...Hey, blog what you want (says the blogger with the yoga obsession) - if people get bored, they'll move on.....

And thanks for the movie suggestions - my Netflix queue can be best described as benignly neglected - about once every few months I get in there and move things around, but sometimes we let movies sit for a week or two unwatched.

So it's good to get some "real people" recommendations.Judehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13905265861328249554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-62983031794684706142008-01-21T19:46:00.000-05:002008-01-21T19:46:00.000-05:00Ocean's 13 - saw it in a theatre(!) and loved it. ...Ocean's 13 - saw it in a theatre(!) and loved it. Fun and mindless.

I adore Ratatouille. Saw it in the theatre 3 times (autistic kids are into repetition. IMO, Finding Nemo doesn't even compare. To me, FN is a horror movie. The parent of a somewhat disabled child loses said child in the vast ocean. Terrifying for the parent of a disabled child whose disability causes him to wander off at times. I can't be in the room when my kids watch the DVD of FN. But right now they are watching Ratatouille repeatedly, so I am safe.

Office Space kicks ass and takes names. One of my favorite movies EVER.

Haven't seen the rest, will add them to MY Netflix list . . .Bunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12955817346800123054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-42726577795764130512008-01-21T19:44:00.000-05:002008-01-21T19:44:00.000-05:00Ocean's 13 - saw it in a theatre(!) and loved it. ...Ocean's 13 - saw it in a theatre(!) and loved it. What more do you need?

I did like Fahrenheit 9/11, but agree with you that he goes too far sometimes. He loses credibility, I think, with some of his stunts.

HeidiFamily Adventurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00093360285075029799noreply@blogger.com
