The horror!<BR/><BR/>Everywhere I've ever lived they close school for elections. It's a major pain in the butt for stay-at-home parents, imho, because then you have to drag the little buggers to your polling place with you or make extraordinary arrangements for them. The other arrangement thing is really tough when you're new in town and don't know anyone well enough with whom to leave the little monkeys (or the one person you would feel comfortable leaving the kids with went on vacation this week!). My husband stayed home from work so I could vote. He recognized how important it was to me. A miracle, I know. I was about 200th in line and was home in 1.5 hours. Not bad.Bunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12955817346800123054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-31695411311737175852008-11-04T22:09:00.000-05:002008-11-04T22:09:00.000-05:00"I'd vote for Obama 'cause it rhymes with my favor..."I'd vote for Obama 'cause it rhymes with my favorite animal: llama."<BR/> - that's awesome!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276333907539566443.post-15349246275496922072008-11-04T19:59:00.000-05:002008-11-04T19:59:00.000-05:00I thought everyone had today off! Course, I like beans. Been a while since I had a really good bean chili. Hmmm, chili...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
