Appalachia, Argentina... let's call the whole thing off.

If only the Republicans would quit being so gosh-darned preachy about [so-called] "family values," it wouldn't cause so many people to go "BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" every time another GOP leader cheats on his wife.

Who is it that the sanctity of marriage needs defending from, again?

  1. Did you see that Fox New labeled him as a Democrat on their coverage of the scandal? They've done that before with someone. Can't remember who. Too many whore-y Republicans to keep track of!

  4. At least his wife wasn't standing beside him with her chin quivering.

Those e-mails were just sickening. I kept looking at his face and wondering how anyone could cheat with a married man/woman? I mean, what does it say about his character when he is writing you goopy love e-mails and staying married to her? I understand falling out of love and I understand meeting someone else, but I have no sympathy for those who don't pony up and admit it and then disentangle themselves.

  5. On the contrary - this illustrates exactly what happens when marriage is not protected. If gay people are allowed to marry anywhere, he subconsciously reasoned, then no marriage anywhere is sacred, including his own, and so off he went. We'd have even fewer heterosexual divorces if we could just think up some more restrictions to put on gay people.

    (Yes, this is sarcasm.)

  6. And Rush Limbaugh & Newt Gingrinch believe in marriage so strongly that they've both had at least 3 wives.
