I'm inclined to agree with Dennis (sorry D., you are capitalized in my book; old habits die hard). The incident in question has no bearing on current events, and bringing it up now is at best obnoxious.
Wellllll... it's a question of context. Why would you assume people need reminding of that and take it upon yourself to do so as a comment on a short post about his brain cancer? It's not as if I wrote a fawning tribute. Here in Massachusetts, the news has political implications, if nothing else.
Anyway given one anonymous comment, I have no idea who you are or if you're an asshole or not. But I can see how that one comment would lead someone to think you are.
I rather liked the post you had up here before this one. Baffling conversations with fellow Democrats, I gather?
