Why I need to be online for adult conversation every so often during the day
Peanut, drawing: Mommy, what are your favorite colors? Me: I like purple, and green, and blue. Peanut: NO, your FAVORITE! Me: Purple. Peanut: JUST purple?!?
... and it reminds me of a little boy I saw on a bus once. He was watching out the window and reciting, "Blue is my favorite color, and yellow is my favorite color, and green is my favorite color, and Clifford-color is my favorite color, and yellow is my favorite color, and orange is my favorite color, and..."
I love moments like that. They make all the other crap worthwhile. Although, yeah. Adult conversation has become my crack lately - I long for it so most days.

Just watch out for your end of adult conversations taking the same texture as conversations with peanut.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I hardly ever go to the bathroom, or use the restroom anymore. I almost always need to use the potty.
